Cross-country skiing trail

With more than 200 kilometres of a cross-country skiing trail, the Achensee region is a true Eldorado for fans of this healthy winter sport. Fans of the classic style as well as skaters will find here an excellent cross-country ski network with routes of all difficulty levels. Beginners can learn the most important basic concepts such as braking techniques; change of a trail or emergency fall on a special practice track. On a cross-country trail with a dog, four-legged can accompany their owners without disturbing other cross-country skiers. 2 ski schools in the village offer cross-country skiing courses for beginners and advanced.

From the front door - onto the track: directly at the Urschnerhof you enter the Pertisau local cross-country skiing trail; from there you can get to all the other trails. From the entrance to the Karwendel valleys, you can ascend further, past meadows and huts, which invite you to stop for a meal. In the Urschnerhof, from your host, you can get all the information about the trails and difficulty levels of the cross-country skiing trails. Ski storage and shoe dryer are available for you. With your guest card the use of the Karwendel skiing trails (otherwise fee required) is free of charge.
